These are an excellent choice when it gets down towards freezing. They are the only things that keep my hands warm in very cold temperatures, it is easy to put them on and off, and you can still work your gears.
There is a downside, though: on one of my very first rides with them, the velcro strap ripped off in the middle of a ride and I had to send them back to be replaced.
